Cairns Learn To Dive Cairns PADI

Pro Dives' training centre is located in the city of Cairns and features all the modern facilities need to learn to dive. Pro Dive also boast Cairns deepest dive pool. At 4.5 metres in the middle students get and excellent idea of what pressure feels like under water.

The first two days are spent learning the theory and underwater skills of diving.

The next 3 days are spent living on board one of our premium purpose built vessels. Your first 4 dives will complete your open water certification and then as certified diver you are able to undertake up to 5 more pleasure dives. This includes a night dive! These dives will be exciting and truly memorable. The night of your return to Cairns, join the crew and fellow passengers for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Medical $55.00
Levy an additional fee of $50.00 per person is payable direct to Pro Dive. This fee consists of a $16.50 Government Environmental Management Charge, Port Departure Tax and administration charges. This charge is applicable to all passengers travelling on the 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard Dive trip and all Dive Courses combining the 3 Day trip.

The 5 Day Liveaboard option is by far the most popular learn to dive option. Not only are you certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, but you also get FIVE additional 'Fun Dives', including a guided night dive at no extra charge!!!

To do an Open Water Course with Deep Sea Divers Den,
you must pass a dive medical and swim test.

9.00am pick-up from your city accommodation

Dive medical to AS 4005.1 (if required)

* Please note on days one and two - meals, accommodation and Medical are not inclusive. You will also at some point in the first 2 days be required to swim 200m and tread water for 10 minutes.

DAY THREE

7.45am pickup from your city accommodation.
Transfer out to the reef aboard ReefQuest and do your first 2 training dives.
Lunch (included)
At 14:30 transfer to OceanQuest where you will spend the night.
Lunch, dinner and accommodation included

DAY FOUR

Breakfast, 2 more training dives
Lunch (included)
Certification as Open Water diver
Afternoon pleasure dive
Guided night dive.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation included.

DAY FIVE

Breakfast, 3 more pleasure dives
Last dive completed by 2.00pm.
Breakfast and lunch included.
5.00pm return to your accommodation.

You will receive a total of 5 dives 4 training and 1 fun dive includes 2 days and 1 night onboard Ocean Quest.

If you prefer to sleep in the comfort of your hotel or resort than this is the option for you.

4 Day course is spends to days diving the outer reef onboard Reef Quest returning in the afternoon each day at around 4:30 pm.

This course is the same as the day five course, however you spend 1 day extra on the reef and complete 4 extra.
