Snorkel Cairns Terms

All prices are stated as per person, and Australian Dollars. Prices are valid until 31st March 2012.

Please do not make online bookings within 24 hours of your requested travel date.

Deposit and Full Payment Cancellation / Rescheduling policy:
Snorkel Cairns operated by Immersed Images requires a Deposit of 20% of the course or trip to commence booking arrangements.
Snorkel Cairns will not charge your credit card until we have secured your booking, unless you have chosen to pay by Pay Pal. If you have chosen Pay Pal as your method of payment we will refund your payment should we not have any availability for your booking.

We will contact you advising you we have secured your booking by Email, with a reservation confirmation number and details of the deposit charged and required payment details for the outstanding balance.
Snorkel Cairns will not charge any fees for bookings made that are found to be unavailable at time of booking and we will advise you that the tour is full, and give you the best options available for your consideration.
Please note Snorkel Cairns must receive at least 48 hours notice from you when choosing to cancel / reschedule a reservation prior to the start date.

Cancellation refunds are not given within 48 hours prior to travel or commencement date. This includes factors beyond your control including medical problems, airline delays, bad weather, etc. - "Trade Practices Act 1974". Travel insurance is highly recommended.
All Snorkel Cairns bookings are subject to a cancellation fee this is to cover the cost of any bank fees or administration cost envolved with your booking.

*Levy:

A levy is payable on many of the tours, the levies are listed with each tour as an extra fee payable. (+*Levy) The levies are made up of many separate fees and some will or may include Fuel levies, Administration charges and Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC): $5.50 An EMC of $5.50 is levied for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area per day. Snorkel Cairns at no time collects this *levy and all *levies are payable in full on the day of travel. Some levies can change subject to fuel price increases and other price fluctuations.

Cancellations fees:
a. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your course/trip commencement date, Snorkel Cairns will refund your deposit less any bank fees or administration cost envolved with your booking.*Excludes TAKA and Spirit of freedom Bookings

Taka: Cancellation: The cancellation fees based on the full trip value are as follows:

20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure.
50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure.
100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure.
Schedules subject to change without notice

Spirit Of Freedom Cancellation Fees:The cancellation fees based on the full trip value are as follows:

20% cancellation fee applies with 60-22 days notice
100% cancellation fee applies for 21 days or less notice

b. Within 48 hours of course/trip commencement: Full course/trip fee will be charged. *Excluding Open Water Dive Courses.

PADI Open Water Courses booked online with Snorkel Cairns Cancellation Fees Are:

Cancellation made more than 48 hours before your course/trip commencement date, Snorkel Cairns will refund your deposit in Full.
Should you find that you fail your dive medical on day 1 of the course commencement, or find that during your first Scuba Diving pool experience that diving is not for you and you cancel prior to 5 pm on the first day, Snorkel Cairns will refund your deposit.

We will advise you should an operator have any additional cancellation or payment request

Immersed Images operating as Snorkel Cairns strongly recommends that you have travel insurance as well as appropriate dive insurance.

Snorkel Cairns reserves the right to change vessel, dive locations and price without notice. When you have made a booking with Snorkel Cairns you agree to all our terms and conditions.
