Cairns based, TUSA Dive are the day tour scuba diving and snorkelling specialists to the Great Barrier Reef. With more than 20 years experience in taking visitors to the reef, TUSA Dive strive to make your Cairns reef tour as memorable, educational and exciting, as it is possible to be.

Experienced scuba divers and snorkellers alike can travel to the Cairns outer reefs in ultimate comfort on board the super-slick reef craft, the TUSA 5. Launched in late 2007, the TUSA 5 is custom designed for Great Barrier Reef cruising, cairns diving and snorkelling, and each day visits two unique reef locations from Tusa's choice of 16 spectacular dive and snorkel sites.

Tusa Dive's professional and friendly dive crew are on hand throughout the day to assist you in ever way, and can provide education for snorkeling, first time "introductory scuba diving" (PADI Discover Scuba course), PADI Referral Courses, and PADI Open Water courses.

For divers looking for more than a day trip, multi-day scuba packages are available for day touring and Tusa 5's big sister, the Spirit of Freedom provides 3 to 7 day liveaboard diving expeditions to the iconic dive destinations of the Cod Hole and Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea.

SNORKELLING CAIRNS

Picture yourself snorkelling over magical reef gardens where the coral is pristine and the water is stunningly clear!!

Tusa Dive have a selection of 16 unique dive and snorkel locations for you to explore. While the divers explore the walls and depths, you’ll be gliding over the reef tops, mesmerised by the vivid colours of the fish as they dart in and out of the corals and anemones.

You’ll be provided with top ‘diver’ quality masks and snorkels, booties and fins.  Wetsuits, and/or lycra suits are provide for all, depending on the season, and for those who like a little extra buoyancy in the water, our ‘noodles’ will help to keep you safely above the coral.

The snorkelling is straight off the back of the T5, with the reef never more than a short swim away.  The crew will give you a thorough brief before you enter the water, and a little instruction about snorkelling for first-timers.  A dedicated crew member will be in the water for any that like a little extra assistance, and a Free Guided Snorkel tour with one of our professional divemasters will be offered in the day.

CERTIFIED DIVING ON THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

Tusa Dive have more than 20 years experience in providing day tour diving for certified divers. Our history gives us access to some of the best diving locations in the Marine Park, accessible in a day trip from Cairns. We have 16 dive sites within a 50 km radius of Cairns, allowing us to choose the best two sites, for the conditions of the day. And if you are interested in joining us for more than a day we can (weather permitting!), take you to two new sites each day.

At each site you have the option of 2 or 3 dives. Each site you dive will be unique, allowing you to explore vast coral gardens, caverns, walls and isolated pinnacles, while amazing you with sheer the diversity and colour of marine life.

Tusa Dive offer you the freedom to dive with your buddy or join the guided dives with one of our divemasters at a small additional cost of $10 per dive. Top quality scuba equipment, includes Scubapro regulators and BCDs, Uwatec Aladin Pro dive computers, TUSA Liberators masks and Tusa Imprex fins and booties. Wetsuits are available in all sizes, and include 3mm full length and 5mm shorties, as well as lycra suots if preferred.

Nitrox fills at 32% are available for Nitrox certified divers, when booked in advance

Tusa Dive offer a tanks & weight rate for divers supplying their own scuba equipment, and also special discounted packages for divers joining us for 3 days or more.
